The Right Individual:
We are looking for an Associate Technical Lead who would lead and work alongside a growing research and development team to improve existing products and build new products. The ideal candidate would be someone with understanding of data structures, data modelling and software architecture.
Role & Responsibilities
- You will lead and work within a growing research and development team to improve existing and build new products.
- Your role will be to develop or enhance innovative products and applications for the company.
- You will also conduct a lot of research and solve a variety of problems that have never been solved before.
- Ideally, you are a detail-oriented, self-motivated individual and enjoy dealing with challenging problems.
- Ability to make decisions and take responsibility for projects and tasks.
- Willingness to learn and grow professionally in a team environment.
- Your role will be to fully research, design, implement, test, and demonstrate the results.
- Your role will include preparation for demos and proof of concepts with the latest technologies.
- You will be required to have grooming, mentoring, and managerial skills for this role.
Expected Functional Skills
- 4–8 years of work experience in the field of software engineering and research
- Understanding of data structures, data modelling, and software architecture
- Deep knowledge of math, probability, statistics, and algorithms
- Ability to write robust code in Python
- Fluent in one of the following programming languages: Python, C#, JavaScript
- Experience in AI/ML technologies and familiarity with contemporary cloud architectures, virtualization, and containerization methods, tools, and techniques
- Basic understanding of networking protocols and concepts
- Good understanding of design patterns
- Willingness to learn new technologies and programming languages quickly
- Experience working on large-scale software projects
- Working knowledge of building deep learning NLP and computer vision models for classification and object detection
- Proficient in AWS/GCP cloud platforms, with exposure to fetching data from various sources
